I started my career after University as a journalist in Moscow where I worked for a number of publications including Izvestia and Forbes.  At that time Russia was exploring the frontiers of capitalism and the natural resources sector – especially with my focus on the two “sexiest” areas, oil and diamonds – was the place to be and it helps me a lot on my current work. My many Russian clients appreciate my familiarity with the country, its language and its customs.
