About

Simon has over 16 years’ experience in the communications industry, starting his career at Mediapolis, which became MPG, now Havas Media.

After starting his career as a Planner/ Buyer, Simon subsequently spent over nine years working in Strategy, giving him the full ‘top to bottom’ view of the communications process. This meant bigger picture business thinking and the ability to identify and deliver brilliant communications outputs for Havas Media clients. His current role sees him working in leadership capacity across a range of accounts, as well as mentoring and quality-controlling the outputs of all the planning teams at Havas Media.

Simon has worked with range of clients, across various categories, including Pernod Ricard UK, KIA, Camelot, Orange, TUI Travel (Thomson, Lunn Poly), Virgin Megastores and Low Cost Holidays. He is also proud to have launched successful brands, such as Magners Cider in the UK, and steered brands like The National Lottery and KIA to multiple consecutive years of record sales.

In the process, he has won numerous industry awards, including three IPA Effectiveness Awards, Media Week Golds, a Thinkbox TV Planning Award, and multiple ClearChannel Outdoor Planning Awards, including the inaugural Grand Prix.
