The Drum Recommended Digital Agency Awards – Grand Prix Winner

Hallam was shortlisted in 16 categories and took home 5 awards including Search, Usability, Client Service, Full Digital Service and the Grand Prix for the best digital agency in the 40-99 staff bracket. The awards are solely based on client reviews and identify the highest rated agencies in the country. 

 

Google Premier Partner Awards – Shopping Innovation and Display Innovation Finalists

Hallam has been shortlisted in two categories in the prestigious Google Premier Partner Awards in 2017. The awards recognise the achievements of the very best digital marketing agencies across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. Approximately 2,000 Partners were eligible to enter the awards, with only 90 Partners being shortlisted for the awards.

 

UK Digital Experience Awards – Best Online User Experience B2C – Silver Award

Our web development work with Virtual Runner has won Hallam a silver award in the UK Digital Experience Awards in 2017. The web team developed a highly automated website with a sleek user experience that increased the client’s number of subscribers dramatically.

We were honoured as Best Agency at the prestigious UK Digital Experience UK awards held in November 2016 in London. These awards recognise and celebrate exceptional customer experience through digital media channels. 

 

Drum Search Awards – PPC – Best Use of Data – Highly Commended

Hallam Internet helped one of the largest players selling into the education market transform their ecommerce operations. Our Head of Insights, Jonathan Ellins, created unique data-driven tools that increased the profitability of the client’s Google Shopping campaigns. This resulted in a year-on-year revenue increase of +414%.

Our Head of PPC, Owen Gill, has been nominated in the 3rd edition of the Landy Awards, which recognise the best work from leading agencies and top search marketers from around the world. The nomination was the perfect birthday present for Owen as that is when he found out about it!

Team Hallam has been shortlisted in not one, not two, but three categories: Use of Data, Sports Website, App or Campaign and Agency of the Year. The Drum Awards for the Digital Industries (DADIs) have been rewarding top agencies internationally for 10 years.

Susan Hallam has been shortlisted as a result of her building a successful business that puts innovation and creativity at the core of everything it does. The award celebrates and champions inspiring entrepreneurship stories that result in positive change in the country.

 

Masterclassing Digital Marketing Awards – Data and CRM - Winner

Jonathan Ellins‘ outstanding work with Garden4Less brought us the Marketing Excellence in Data and CRM Award in 2017. Jonathan developed bespoke in-house scripts to manage bids in Google Shopping which resulted in an increase in conversion rates and profit for our client. 

 

East Midlands Chamber Business Awards – Business Improvement through Technology - Winner

The award recognises our use of technology to improve our business communications and efficiencies. We have developed our own proprietary technologies that we use to communicate internally, externally, create reports and build web development architecture.

 

Nottingham Post Awards – Creative Industries Business of the Year - Winner

Creativity is the key to our success, and in 2017 we were recognised as Nottingham’s Creative Industries Business of the Year. Our amazing workspace, creative thinking and dedication to sharing our knowledge have been rewarded in the form of this award in 2017.

Alex Jones, our Head of Earned Media, has been by selected by a team of leading industry experts as a finalist for this leading regional PR award in 2017. The nomination recognises the outstanding work he has been delivering for our clients across the UK.

 

The Drum Marketing Awards – Digital Strategy of the Year – Finalist

We were a finalist in The Drum’s Marketing Awards in 2017 for our work helping Keystone Software launch their new cloud-based ERP system. The digital marketing strategy we devised surpassed the client’s lead generation targets. 

 

East Midlands Business Link Fastest 40 Awards – Fastest in Tech & Creative – Finalist

Our Technical Director, Jon Martin, was one of the finalists in 2017 for the new proprietary web architecture he built for Hallam. His innovation has increased our efficiency and enabled us to deliver better, smarter, more creative web solutions for our clients. Jon is the “drummer” of the business: he pulls the whole show together and makes sure as a company we are delivering a solid song.

The East Midlands Chamber of Commerce recognised Hallam as the 2016 Employer of the Year, recognising our commitment to developing our people, and creating the best place to work. Our PR campaign for KRCS was shortlisted by the UK Search Awards in 2016 for its outstanding results in a very competitive time of the year: 503% increase in Black Friday shoppers to the website.

 

Nottingham Post Women in Business Awards – Entrepreneur of the Year - Winner

Susan Hallam was declared winner of the prestigious award in 2015 by a panel of judges in a high profile awards ceremony. Event organisers, the Nottingham Post, explained that the Entrepreneur of the Year Award recognises “the woman who has demonstrated that she is building a business of outstanding potential”.
