Karen is Head of Experience Architecture at Else and has been here practically since the company was born. She has 12 years experience in the field. At Else her role involves her to draw on her skills in the following areas; User Research, Interaction Design and Information Architecture.

Whilst at Else Karen has been involved in many successful projects with clients such as Betfair, Accenture, Harris & Hoole, Shavbe and Automic. Previously Karen has worked at the BBC and LBi working with clients such as HMV, ITN and the World Economic Forum.

Her interest in human-computer interaction began at university where she studied Computer Science and Cognitive Psychology. Starting her career as a designer with The Motley Fool, Karen soon realised that where she worked the best was in the field of user experience.

When not at work, Karen is a cook/cleaner/teacher/carer/taxi driver and can usually be found at a playground in leafy Surrey with numerous children swinging from her ear lobes.
