John Clark (Planning Director)

John Clark

About

Having cut his teeth in advertising at Ogilvy and refined his skills at Publicis and M&C Saatchi, John joined Coley Porter Bell in 2011. It has brought him full circle – back to both the Ogilvy & Mather Group and to design, which he studied at college.

John’s passionate about the agency’s Visual Planning™ approach – the potential this new way of working offers brands, and the results it delivers for clients. Day to day, he heads up the team responsible for the overall quality of the agencies strategic output, and provides strategic direction for his own clients’ projects.

Over the years, John’s had a hand in the success of brands including Dove, Ladbrokes, Famous Grouse, and American Express. Outside of work, he sits on the APG Committee, and, as a keen traveler, is slowly colouring in all the countries on his world map.

What does that mean to you?

John will identify and magnify the value in your brand, simplifying what’s complex and providing clear strategic direction towards your goals.

“If you’re interested in brands, a design agency is a great place to be, as you become responsible for a brand’s primary physical manifestation, whether via packaging, naming, visual identity or other brand world elements.”
